Every year thousands of men make the long uphill climb to rejoin the workforce, and for many of these men an interview suit is a first step toward a second chance.
We invite you to join Men’s Wearhouse and local non-profits as they strive to help these men achieve self-sufficiency. In the months of September and October when you donate your gently used professional clothing during the National Suit Drive you’ll receive a 10% discount toward your next purchase.

The Milwaukee Ronald McDonald House® Story…

In the early 1980s, a small group of dedicated volunteers set out to build the first Ronald McDonald House in Wisconsin.  The need back then was heart-wrenching. Families literally had no place to stay while their seriously ill child was being treated at Children’s Hospital or another Milwaukee hospital.  The outpouring of support was remarkable.  So much so that when we opened in Wauwatosa in 1984, we called it “the House that love built.”  Today we serve families in ways we could have never imagined 24 years ago.

During our early years, it was typical for guest families to spend a few nights, perhaps a week with us.  Our 25 bedrooms proved sufficient for awhile.  Then, over time, medical advances, the kind that save the lives of children who would not have been saved two decades ago, began requiring extended treatments.  Yet doctors and nurses told us their young patients showed the best signs of healing when they could spend time away from hospital rooms in a more homelike setting surrounded by family.  To accommodate these families, we expanded the House, adding an extended stay wing with thirteen 2-room units.  We also renovated the existing House so that every family staying with us could have a private bathroom, a small amenity it may seem, but one that means a great deal to our guest families.  These renovations have continued to make our House the best “home away from home” it can be.

Look Up - Anonymous Crime Hotline Seen Citywide - WeTop Hotline

Leading off the first day of a Crime Prevention Week to celebrate public/private partnerships between the Milwaukee Police Department and some of our city's corporate citizens, 35 billboards promoting the WeTip Hotline number will be popping up all over the City of Milwaukee beginning Monday, December 12, 2005.  The number is 1-800-78-CRIME and the campaign askes citizens, "Want a safer neighborhood?  It's your call."

The WeTip hotline is a toll free number, answered live 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people to report information they may have about a crime.  More than 415,000 anonymous tips have led to the arrest of more than 15,000 criminals nationwide during the 33 years WeTip has been in existance.  Once of the greatest barriers to solving crimes is fear - fear of citizens to report crime because they believe they will suffer retribution.

Through a generous donation by Clear Channel Outdoor and Clear Channel Radio, the billboards will be posted over a 4-month period throughout the City of Milwaukee.  During the same time period, Clear Channel Radio will run a minimum of 300, 30-second Public Service Announcements over our six Clear Channel Radio Stations (WISN-AM, WKKV-FM, WMIL-FM, WOKY-AM, WQBW-FM, WRIT-FM).  Click here to listen to the Public Service Announcement.  The Milwaukee Courier newspaper also will run advertisements promoting We-Tip number.  The Milwaukee Marketing Communications firm Boelter + Lincoln provided the creative for teh billboard.
